Who ever wins between Stiverne and Wilder was meant to face another mandatory originally involving Jennings and Wlad has to face Fury so it won't happen immediately.

Hopefully Wlad fights Jennings, then Fury in the summer and then unifies at the end of the year. But I don't think it will be an easy fight to negotiate whoever he faces. Whoever the WBC champion is the smart thing would be to make Wlad wait and get older as they build up the fight.

A Wilder-Fury presser would be even more of a treat than Wilder-Stiverne.

True! That presser would be more entertaining than a fight between Wilder-Fury.

It could happen, not likely, but it could. Depends on Wlad's willingness to part with the money, bc the winner will demand something like 50% of the money to oppose Wlad in the ring.

The fact that the winner will have to deal with Jennings and Povetkin rather soon does help Wlad's case.

The probable scenario is for Stiverne to face Mike Tyson, Holyfield, Bowe or Briggs in one of DKP circus acts. At best we will see Fury.

If Wilder wins then Fury is probable, or anybody ranked who agrees to give Al Haymon future options.

I doubt it. Don King said he wants Stiverne to get more recognition before facing Wlad and Wilder wants Fury.
