    Praise of wlad:
1)Brought stability at the top..not like in the 90s..when the world championship was being passed around like a volleyball.

2)Has schooled most of his opponents and not since 2004 has he ever looked in danger in a fight.

3)His 12 round schooling of David Haye is considered one of the best performances by a world champ.

    Criticism of Wlad:

1)His 'safety first' boxing style has taken the glamour out of boxing's glamour division.

2)His few appearances in the US has meant that very poor quality fighters are entering the sport...

3)His 3 KO defeats to rather little known fighters will leave a big mark on his career...making people think he has a suspect chin.

After reading this do you think that Wladimir Klitschko will be remembered as one of the greatest fighters and champions?

Depends what you mean by "one of the greatest world champions"

If you mean at HW, well then yeah, he has to be top 10, simply due to longevity and dominance.

He hasnt had many great fighters to face, but still, hes beaten who was put in front of him.

Hes pretty much been unbeatable for about a decade.

    Cant just ignore that.

If he beats Povetkin,he will have beaten the next best fighter out there(Outside of his bro)

Of course he is. Dominant for so long, beat everyone out there worth fighting. People always talk about the "weak" division. They were saying the same in the 90's.

    longevity and dominance isn't enough.

ATG's must the the whole package.

Without his belts he wouldn't even be a top 10 fighter with the run of bums he's on.

He's going to duck Povektin and be stripped of his belt , rendering him a useless fraud.

He already has a better cv than Lewis who is considered as the 3rd greatest HW ever so you'd have to say yes based on that.

    Nope he really won't

In 10 years time if you ask people to real off some of the greatest champs in the sport, his name won't come near the list

Most casuals are completely in the dark about who he is

I won't look back in fondness at that Wladimir Klitschko fight, nor will anybody else I don't think

Maybe within eastern europe and some of the surrounding countries, but not too sure about anywhere else
