Wlad's footwork and mobility plays a role, as does his accuracy and power. If fighters lunge in and press, one of three things usually happens: they're going to get punished on the way in, Wlad will move out of their range because he's quicker than they are, or he'll tie them up. It's one of those situations where executing that gameplan is much easier said than done; everyone plans to do what you said, but once they get hit, all the sudden the focus goes to how they're going to last, not how they're going to win.
Chambers reminds me of Arreola, slightly better shape, slightly faster, not as tough, and 40lb lighter. I dont see much love coming Chambers way. Will be a 25 jabs and a couple right hands a round from Klit, Chambers will stand thier frozen, his face busted up by the 5th/6th round, quitting on his stool by the 8th, unless Kilt catches him with a clean right hand (then its a KO whenever that happens).
Just watching the card now, Ustinov v mahone. Why does this seem to be the pattern on German boxing shows, chubby yank v tall Russian?????? haha. Chambers doesn't look in great shape either, neither did Kevin Johnson, neither did Areolla. Do American heavyweights not believe in conditioning and training their ass off for a fight????
Too much free strudel gets delivered on behalf of the German promoters, and our guys just can't keep their mouths shut.
