He is isnt as exciting as he used to be, but he still is an exciting fighter in this division. I love boxing, especially watching Heavyweight boxing, unfortunately it seems like Im becoming an extinct breed amongst most people, with the unpopular state of the Heavyweight divsion.

My favorite type a fighters are Brawlers who have a good chin, guys like Brewster, Peter, and Chageav who are some of my current favorites. I just dont like fighters who crumble under pressure, but when there doing the hitting everythings ok. I think of Wlad as a bully in a sense, a guy that can dish it but cant take it.

Nice job, but I'd put the odds at around 85-15%

Peter is not a brawler. He is a plodder. Where has he shown he was a brawler? He didn't against Toney x2 and McCline, by far his best wins.

I don't think Wlad is a brawler, but I would not call him a bully either. Wlad has had very, very few chances to "brawl" because when he dishes, the other can't respond. That is a fact.

But in the capital of boxing, america, it was not that popular of a match. Matches like Mayweather/Oscar or Tyson/whoever is what breaks PPV records, I dont think Wlad was ever in a PPV match, but Vitali was popular enough to be on PPV.

You are talking about American PPV only....The title wlad holds is "WORLD Champion" not american champ...and i bet if his fights were on PPV they would do well....

we should be thanking Wlad he wants his fight on regular HBO so more fans can watch...that saves us all about $50-$60 bucks

Im gonna be dead honest with you CHEF, it wouldnt do well in america. If your taking about Europe, it should do well. The average guy dont even know who Wlad is, the only guys that do well on PPV are Hopkins, Oscar, Holyfield, and Pac. The Heavyweight division is unpopular in the states now adays, most people couldnt even name one title holder if you went around and posed the question in a bar.:verysad

That's due to the USA not being all in the top 10...I lived back near NY City, and when Borg was about the only non American in tennis, it got front page write ups all the time, but as soon as the foreighnors got to be tops in Tennis, it was hidden in the inside...Same with boxing now...USA guys are not the best, so the coverage aint there...You may ask a rugby fan who Michael Jorden was, and they likely could care less...The press could make all these so called UNKNOWNS popular if they wanted to :hi:
