Will Wlad lose a fight in the next 2 years?

Okay that was a bit rash but you asked for it! I'll simmer down now.

Wlad is not yet top 15-20 all time but he will be when he unifies the belts.

Why?

Because it's harder to do now than it ever was because there are so many recognized champions at HW that to do so would require an enormous amount of negoiation & patience.

Never before in the history of the sport has the linear title been so fragmented. That is a fact.

 

I also agree with that choice of opponent. Valuev would be a huge test against a HW who largely relies on his size and reach. Wlad would actually be at a disadvantage in these departments for the first time in his professional career.

Of course Wlad has speed, technique & power but he's never faced anything quite like the Giant.

 

Valuev is a very intriguing matchup because he is so much bigger than Wladimir. But Bergeron gave Valuev some problems. Wladimir would likely beat him to the punch, keep him honest with the jab, and set up for some big power punches on that huge cranium of Valuev.

NEVER gonna happen. I watched Chambers get his ass kick everyday by Wlad when Chambers was Wlads sparing partner for the Brock fight. Wlad was beating him so bad, they sent chambers home.

Realistically Chagaev, Valuev, Peter & Povetkin are the only current fighters that stand a chance IMO. I'm being 100% honest here. Each for different reasons too.................If he defeats all of them he will be ranked in in personal top 10 all time.
