Will Wlad man up?

I agree about Chagaev, especially after his last fight. Wlad has a way of ruining fighters. :yep

Truth be told I can think of 4 guys that could give Haye a run for his money.

No particular order:

Tony Thompson. He's a very under rated boxer with a good jab and he uses his size well. He has good defense & a high guard but he takes a decent punch too. I honestly haven't seen him fight since his loss to Wlad so he may be ruined himself for all I know.

Calvin Brock. Also a good boxer skills wise & a big punch to go with that technique.

Eddie Chambers. Very good defense, fast hands & a good workrate. Not much power & his stamina let him down against Povetkin, but he did outbox Sasha for half that fight.

Odlanier Solis. Already beat Haye in the Ams. Good technique, plenty of power, but lazy & fat.

 

Open you mind.

Derek Chisora was a nobody, domestic level fighter that no one heard of until Wlad offered him a shot at the title. Now he's a bit more well known & thanks to some stupid **** he said I & many other boxing fans want to see his ass get knocked out.

After Wlad KO's Haye he can KO Del Girl. :good

 

I agree with Thompson, I've always felt he was under-rated on here. Although I haven't seen him fight since Wlad either, looking at his record he's notched up four straight stoppages including the likes of Owen Beck & Chazz Witherspoon so he should still be decent enough. On Wlad form I rate him as one of the top heavies out there at the moment. I'd be really interested in seeing those sparring sessions between the two for the Harrison fight.

Brock yeah but obviously the guy is now retired with eye problems. Chambers, I think would provide some problems, but I don't see him as being as elusive as some people make out, still fairly hard to hit but not very hard, and I don't see a great deal of offensive variety.

Solis skill wise and such is obviously up there but at the moment, but he's really struggling and isn't going to beat Haye in his current shape for me.

 

tony thompson was toyed with by haye in sparring for the audley fight.

 

1. You weren't there, no one knows what really happened except them

2. Sparring result does not = actual fight result

Yea i read that the klitscko brothers wants to fight haye next year. I hope haye could fight them both before the end of 2011.
