When did he hurt him to the body?
I remember Brock hitting him to the body quite a few times and causing redness but i did not see any reaction out of Wlad.

His sides were fairly red and bruised looking, Brock landed some good shots. Wlad looked to be in discomfort, I'm not claiming he was rocked or anything.

Don't get me wrong man im not arguing or disagreeing with you, just wondering where i missed it.
That fight was actually pretty fun to watch and i did see Brock put in some good bodywork but i did not notice any wincing or any sort of reaction out of Wlad.

I did see Steward being uncomfterble with how things were going though and urging Wlad to pick it up, which did result in Brock endingup on a highlight reel.

Actually on that note does anyone know how Brock is doing nowadays? i know he retired due to that detached retina that would not healup but i havent heard anything since.

  5. Sam Peter.

That was the last time anyone gave Wlad problems. He got off the canvas 3 times to come back and win that fight and hasn't had an issue with a single opponent since then.. including a second fight with Peter.

  6. According to wikipedia he's a real estate agent now. Calvin Brock is a class act.

Underrated fighter i think, the kid had some real potential.
Glad hes making a living now without getting punched in the head.

    Hope he does well.

yea i get what your saying bro..i also agree with you wlad was under pressure from some of brocks bodys shots but again like you said he was overly hurt........i dont understand why his losses cant be looked about as some kind of career defining moment..he lost to fighters hit rock bottom (and rightly so from what i believe before the sanders fight he was an arrogant dick) but has turned it round and look where he is now.guys who are better than all of the fighters who beat him cant even win a round against him never mind the fight that in itself is defining:good

Ibragimov is Wlad defining fight & I'd never watch it again.

It set the tone for the future.

  14. I think his career defining fight was the first Sam Peter fight. He gets pounded all around the ring and then comes back to win a boring decision.
