Will Women’s boxing ever get near the popularity of men’s boxing?

I got blocked on twitter by Shields, for saying I wanted to fight her while we were both naked in the ring, lol

As the popularity of men's boxing shrinks, the gap gets smaller I guess:nusenuse:

I wouldn't be surprised if women were relatively better at wrestling, kicking, and other ground type stuff than boxing.

Women's gymnastics is decidedly more popular. There are some near even small sports like swimming, ice skating sports that aren't hockey, track and field, a lot of the other winter sports.

The answer to that question is no, but it does not mean that the athletes who choose to participate in this should be disrespected, as they unfortunately seem to be by some.

What's a disrespect is to force the aficionados to watch that crap before the main event, as they do in british promotions.

People should give it a chance. I watched a women's fight last night - Luna vs. Flores - that was more action-packed that most of the men's fights I've seen lately.

Probably not, unless a social movement that supports women's boxing manages to ban or marginalize men's boxing.
