Will Yarde ever face the top guys?

Don’t waste your breath mate. He’s mandatory, it’s clearly going to happen, but as Yarde didnt pose for a picture with this guy when asked or something like that, he hates him. It’s boring.

 

There used to be two threads here criticising the fact that neither Buatsi or Yarde had stepped up.

Buatsi is still yet to face a live body as a professional boxer over nearly 6 years. Despite being a former olympian and 29 years old. Everytime he is due to fight someone with a pulse there is an issue with the contract or he gets injured. The thread of Buatsi is still alive and well.

Yarde has fought live bodies 3 times since his thread was started and the thread is dead. I also know who I would rather watch and who is more exciting, it’s Yarde.

 

I always deemed Buatsi to be the bigger talent but it turns out he's just another charlatan. Simply doesn't want it enough.

Here's hoping Yarde can at least get a world title in the near future.

 

Bolotniks and Spider were both good match ups but I agree Buatsi needs to p*ss or get off the pot.

Yarde travelled to Russia and fought Kovalev in some random Russian city ...he has already done far more than Joshua "I'm injured and pulling out of fights" Buatsi. Buatsi is the definition of a duck. ****ing bum.

Agree, I thought he was going to be elite at 175.

 

Definitely flirting with the idea, if it gets made.

 

Yarde should have won that fight and would have with a better corner. He's still a pretty limited guy though in my view. Kovalev had him at the end of a jab and was winning rounds comfortably but Yarde definitely could have won with the right tactics. Agreed on Buatsi.
