Will you be buying Mosley-Mayorga?

See my previous post about the cheating. This fight will be on Oct. 11th. This is the same day Showtime is showing the Dawson vs. Tarver fight as well as the Klit vs. Peter fight.

 

I certainly will not watch this fight. I'll save my money and wait for the replay.

 

Had it still been Mosley vs Judah, then maybe.

 

mosley comes to fight, so does mayorga, it should be labelled THE BATTLE.

 

It aint going in the 100s. GBP will do there best to promote this fight and you know Mayorga will do his best to promote it. Plus they are big names this fight will do around the low 300,000s. The public is a sucker for hype.

 

I pay for fights because I'm a boxing fan.

I don't relate to the people who ***** and moan about PPV's at every opportunity, but then again Boxing fans probably moan more than any other fan in the history of professional sports.

Pacquaio is the P4P #1 fighter in the world...and came off a PPV where he and JMM drew 500,000. It's believed his most recent PPV didn't touch 200,000 buys. Mayorga and Vargas had some low buyrates as well...not to mention neither fighter has been very active or anything like that.

I don't think it'll do 200,000 but it'll come close.

 

For a DKP fighter like Mayorga? HELL Yes!:smoke

Considering that Peter-Klitschko and Dawson-Tarver are airing that same night, are you saying you'll still order the HBO PPV fights and tape the Showtime ones?

Unless it gets a hell of an undercard, I'll wait for the replay and watch the Showtime card live.

Yeah, I know.. I'll probably end up buying it though as it is JMM & Casa fighting.. Weren't they also talking about putting Katsidis/Diaz on ppv too though a week before the JMM/Casa fight? If so, I wouldn't know which to buy.. I always love to watch Katsidis and the fight would be a ****ing war, but if JMM/Casa also has Donaire fighting Arce on the undercard, then I might get that.. I'll just see how it all works out come September..

I'm kinda' tight on money right now so I definitely won't be buying this ppv.. I'll just wait for the replay on HBO.. If I didn't have to worry about money, then I would buy it as well as every single PPV they would have..
