It would be an inspiration to see Bellew defeat a man that is better than him in every way. It will enlighten as to what humans are capable of achieving when the put their all their heart, soul and mind into something. To defy the odds. To be the ultimate underdog, and to have silenced all those who wrote you off. It will give me hope, that anything is possible, never give up.
I only care about the best man winning, which I think will be Bellew, but if Usyk effectively neutralizes Bellew's combinations, timing, and power and beats Bellew he'll be a breath of fresh air when he move up to the heavyweight division.
When Uysk eventually takes his first loss he deserves to suffer that fate at the hands of a far better boxer than Bellew....
yes whatever the case, you gotta give credit to bellew for taking on the best. hes not the type to fight nobodies for ten years, waiting for one good guy to get injured then beat em and retire and pretend they are great. bellew is realtime, hes not going to descend into post retirement drug misery.
If Bellew wins, what other fighter will have ended their career on such a high??? Who had their last fight being of this quality? four belts proudly worn around the waist of one man.
If Usyk loses then I am tearing down his statue in my backyard and burning my matching Usky bedroom laundry. In all honesty, I can't help but like the underdog story.. I was so wrong about Bellew in the past that I now hope he does it. What a way to retire from the game! Good luck Tony!
As a Brit i want Bellew to win, so would be delighted if Usyk lost. However whether it be Bellew or Usyk who wins, as long as the decision is not controversial i shall be happy. Post fight it gets boring to hear of crap judging, bad reffing etc, so let's hope there is none of that.
As a general boxing fan I can't see any appeal to Usyk losing. Bellew is a douchebag - he encompasses a lot of what is annoying about British boxing/boxers, such shxt talkers and all the British fans act like "quality" shxt talk somehow makes them better. Usyk is building momentum, is a better boxer, is a likeable chap and is actually trying to be great. I am looking forward to him demonstrating that boxing is a thing that happens in the ring, not the interviews.
The ones that truly despise Usyk aren’t commenting Too funny. Don’t worry dipshits, there are plenty of past posts of yours to bump when he wins Sat
Like always I hope the best man on the night gets the win he deserves. Hopefully there will be none of the suspect officiating which has polluted so many recent fights
I would be happy as Bellew is a fellow countryman, but a bit gutted at the same time as Usyk will have probably been robbed and he's one of the few slick gentlemen in the sport who's great to watch and also great outside the ring. But there's no chance Usyk is losing anyway, so why entertain it.
