Highly doubt that will happen to floyd.. Roy was a fast offensive fighter who only defense was his fast legs ..
Floyd is highly technical defensive fighter who relies on his solid boxing skills not so much his physical ability as roy..

 

No, but if that unlikely scenario ever happens, then I'd be curious to see how Mayweather reacts in his following bouts and most importantly his rematch with Mosley..

They would probably wait after Mosley fights Pacquiao before doing the rematch.

Not shocked. If he can land bodyshots then that would help him. After he stopped Margarito, people are trying to act like Mosley has the power of Mugabi.

 

I would be extremely shocked, especially since the only decent fighters Mosley has stopped in the last 5 years was Vargas (past his best) and Mayorga. Beating him is one thing, stopping him is another.

 

Everybody would be shocked. How couldn't they be when they've probably never seen Floyd taste canvas. Which leads me to question how anybody can be convinced Mosley will KO May when the most they can base it on are "blueprints" which are effectively worth nothing.

 

Mosley has very good power but Mayweather has better defense so yes it would shook me if Mosley stoped Mayweather.

I would be shocked if shane KO'ed floyd, very shocked. I just cant see it happening, floyd rarely if ever gets careless and so shane is relying on a lucky maga shot which unless it lands really flush.......

 

Which active boxers have a better resume than Floyd? If you can find 5 you're doing well. He's not Evander Holyfield but anyone that believes he's never fought world class fighters is an idiot.

I'd be shocked if Shane knocked him out. Considering we haven't seen Floyd convincingly dropped before. It would be a strange sight.

 

Mayweather is like Whitaker and Bernard Hopkins. Those type of guys just don't get knocked out unless they are completely shot or their opponent lands a 1 in a million shot. Considering Shane is not a great jabber and tends to load up and get wide with his shots, I would be completely shocked if he knocked Mayweather out.

 

:rofl:rofl:rofl Mayweather is at his prime, jones was late 30s. Mayweather's defensive fundamentals are light years ahead of Jones'. Shane will land some but he isnt a one punch KO guy at 147 he has pop but any given shot he lands on PBF isnt going to knock him out. Tarver got off the shot of a lifetime that Jones didnt see coming, that wont happen to PBF

 

I don't even pay attention to comments like that. Floyd is fighting top 10 guys pretty much every time out.

I actually think there's a very good chance Floyd will taste the canvas in this one. Still, I'll be very surprised if SSM wins.

 

I will be very surprised but not shocked. Boxing has more surprising and shocking results than that. I will be very surprised if Mosley will connect more than 5 clean shots on Mayweather, heck i will be surprised if Mosley connects atleast half of his power shots on Cotto. My money will be on Mayweather UD.

GBP and the media are slowly hyping this fight to be even, trying to close the gap that initially started as a 3:1 FMJ favorite. Which they should, as a promoter.
