Will you consider the winner of Pacquiao vs Marquez THE super featherweight Champ?

The question of the thread starter is pointless. The #1 and the #2 p4p fighter in the division is fighting with the WBC belt at stake . . . therefore the winner should be the Super Featherweight Champ.

wrong. alot of people feel that to really be the SuperFeatherWeight Champ you would have to unify all 4 belts or beat someone who did.

Its not a pointless question because in about 6 weeks this is a question that people will actually be faced with.

I voted yes but now that i think about, not really. I would still say that the winner is number 1 in the division but that he is not really the Champ unless he unifies all major belts , and that therefore his position as the number 1 guy in the division is debatable

it will be stupid to choose not to consider the winner of pac-jmm2 as THE champ at 130

It's a fight between the number 1 and number 2 Ring Magazine ranked fighters so I assume it will be for the Ring Championship - So yes I think it will be.

That said - A lineal, undisputed title is attractive, not so much in defeating a Fana, but beating Guzman would solidify things further.

i dont see how any one title matters. the winner will be the best 130 lb fighter in the world and thats all that really matters.

A lot of people ? These are the ignorant people who doesn't know boxing, if this reasoning applies then nobody is the champ in all divisions not unless they have all four belts.
