weather it is an easy win or not for chavez, will you give him his props?

i personally HATE chavez jr.. cheating on the scales and coming in as a ****ing cruiser?

if he aient ducking drug tests he is failing them...

that being said. if he beats martinez in anyway shape or form and passes the drug tests i will give him SOME props, if he wants me to kiss his ass and praise him as a god he must not outweigh martinez by to much

I give him props just for fighting Martinez. Something i thought he would never do. If you would ask me a year ago if i think he would ever fight Sergio, i would have laughed and say **** no not in a million years.

If he beats him, he deserves full respect regardless of whether he outweighs him by a large margin or not (barring it ain't a robbery or anything). He's the clear underdog in my eyes.

Chavez is not a huge underdog in thIS Fight, in fact people have been commenting on pacs recent decline yet one could say the same thing about Martinez recent performances. He no longer a spring chicken and chavez is powerful, heavier and strong. 50/50 fight because of that.

But I guess only PAC is allowed to decline in the sport of boxing. Lmao

I don`t really follow Chavez Jr too much, his dad is 1 of my all time favourite fighters but I haven`t seen much of Jr tbh.

I will say this tho... ANYBODY that refuses to give credit to the kid if he beats Martinez is just a biased piece of ****, this is the same Martinez that people were putting top 3 p4p & making a favourite in a Martinez-fmj fight... if Jr wins, he deserves full credit because the majority of people think its a step too far for him.

I'll give him credit if he outboxes Martinez (lol). If he overpowers him I'll presume he's juicing.

Only if I knew that he wasn't juiced. I can't really give him full credit for beating Lee because I'm not certain that he wasn't juiced. He missed the test or something happened with the post fight test against Rubio. I'm not sure if I will. He has been caught cheating before.

No...Martinez is old and Chavez probably won't take a drug test.

Heres where i am on this fight. I dont think either guy has changed much in the last year, Chavez victories over Rubio and Lee dont change much because he was good enough to beat both last year and Martinez poor showings against Macklin and Barker dont change much as he is the type of fighter who struggles in the fights he's supposed to win but shines in the big fights ala Pavlik and Williams just like Donaire with Darchinyan and Montiel.

So as far as im concerned this fight is the same mismatch it was last year. So if chavez wins clearly then he gets all my respect as the best middleweight on the planet

The pick here is Martinez...but absolutely Chavez Jr. deserves props for wanting to fight Martinez...and more props if he pulls the win off... This will be a very good fight.

I'm totally for giving a fighter the props he deserves, but in JCC jr's case there are multiple issues we need to take into concideration before giving him props.

I never expected him to take this fight at all, so props for that at least.
But if he beats Maravilla, the "how" has to be taken in concideration.

    1) Will he keep up his end of the bargain and make weight this time?!?
    2) If he comes in overweight (high probability), then by how much?
    3) What kind of win? Will it be a clear win or will he get a "could have gone either way" kinda win that 80% scored in Martinez' favor? Or maybe even a complete and utter robbery?
    4) Will they again "forget" to test him, let him get away with refusing a test, or will they hold their ground this time?

If there will be no controversies this time, and he wins fair and square I'll be more than happy to give him his props and admit I was wrong about him all along.

I really liked his dad, actually was a big fan... but Chav jr always leaves a lot of questionmarks.
