Well, knowing how opinions flow around here, I imagine whoever loses will be ridiculed by some no matter what. In fact, it's common to see the winner and loser of a fight ridiculed around here regardless of what happens. So basically, the people who ridicule GGG and Canelo now, will likely continue ridiculing them no matter what happens.
No. If Canelo wins I'll claim robbery, triple G's age & then I'll go make another account & pretend I was never really a fan.
It all depends...............if the fight is fair, but if Tony Weeks stops the fight after El Pollo lands a testicle blow like he did in the Kovalev fight, no, I will not see that as a win......................we all know that Oscar owns the judges, refereee and boxing commission, do not forget the name Bob Bennett and liar........................so Golovkin will have to beat El Pollo and his referee, judges, boxing commisson and esp. Bob Bennett.....................watch out for this, watch how the referee will be partial for El Pollo. I really believe the judges will give every round to El Pollo even if El Pollo gets knocked down in every round, they know the fans are gullible. Look at the fans who bought the Void/Conor fight.........................how gullible can fans get? Was not even a fight. What if Golovkin would fight a fighter in his boxing debut with a record of 0-0-0? You would hear hell break lose!
So what he is essentially saying is he wont lose a fight till he is at least 54. Hmmm, think there might be a fair bit of hubris in that statement!
As a neutral I must say: GGG die hards are as annoying as those similar Klitschko nut huggers from 5 or so years ago. I doubt them lot calling GGG the GOAT will give Canelo any credit if he were to win.
Canelo is the Big RED (Young) Machine so I never count him out but this time I think he is in for a war. Folks saying GGG has only faced bums are not real fans of boxing as I acknowledge his opposition in the past has not been that of ALL elite boxers but he is still a KO artist with a deep amateur background. He totally broke the Mule down who I think would KO Canelo. Unless GGG turns old over night he should score at least on good KD if not more on Canelo. I also expect Canelo to stagger GGG with his inside uppercuts that he places so beautifully on his opposition Let's get this party started.....GGG by late TKO
Every time I see this topic I read it as "Caneloegg" and I wonder why you added "egg" to it lol. Unless something weird happens in this bout, the winner will unquestionably be the best middleweight in the world. Frankly it has been Golovkin for some time since Canelo never actually fought at MW and also vacated the division (while also never technically fighting in the division) but if Canelo wins it will be his claim to have.
Acceptance or non-acceptance of a fight result hinges on many factors. For example: 1. Was there unfair referee interference or obvious malicious or incompetent negligence? Referee interference can be via a. Ignoring repeated fouls, such as low blows, rabbit punching, head butting, elbows, lacing, excessive holding by one fighter while penalizing the other for minor infractions. b. Interfering with the fight outcome by preventing one fighter from fighting at a advantageous distance via calling for immediate breaks whenever the targeted fighter seems about to gain the upper hand via inside fighting.. 2. Do the final scorings strongly indicate that certain judges were incompetent or biased? The Pacman/Horn fight is an example of how fans refuse to feel fine with results when such things are obvious.
