No not really, becuase if Kahn beats MAB its obvious MAB is shot to hell.

Some but not a lot due to MAB's age and condition.

I will give Khan credit if the first flush right hand doesn't knock him down.

Khan deserves credit if he beats Barrera. Barrera is still a good fighter, and Khan is a question mark at this point. It'll be a great win for Khan if he can pull it off.

    I misread the title.

I thought it said credit full stop! Not any credit.

But anyway, he gets some credit but not a lot.

A guy who is as old as his hero Naz and started off as a 122lb campaigner.

If Khan KO's him then he will get my respect as a legit puncher at 130.

But nothin else, the guy clearly has a weak chin.

Oh and lets not forget, im english but i hate frank warren, and i think khan sums him up.

    Yes . . . why not?

MAB maybe past his prime but he is still a very live and dangerous fighter. Infact MAB is presently rated #1 by WBO and 4 by WBA . . . you won't give Khan credit for beating a guy ranked 1 and 4 by 2 boxing governing bodies? . . . an ex 3 divisional belt holder?

Take note Khan is just an upcoming fighter who is ranked lower than MAB.

Depends 100% on how MAB looks. If he gives a game, warrior-like effort and loses convincingly (wide on points or by legit stoppage), I'll give Khan some solid credit. Not overboard mind you - he won't be a top five lightweight or anything. But I'll certainly consider it an impressive win.

Why isn't there a conditional "maybe" option? :-(

I don't want to say definitively "yes" or "no" as neither would be an honest answer.

If he bounces back with a win even over a fading future hall of famer, after getting knocked out in the first round in front of your hometown crowd... that's still something.

Yes he'll get credit, people can say MAB is shot. But can't really prove it since he performed so well in his last two fights. Against fighters who happened to be in the top 5 p4p. One of them the current p4p champion. Kahn is definately the underdog in this fight.

The WBO 135 rankings are laughable.

Khan was no.1 when he beat the danish guy and nate campbell was contacted by british press and said that warren pulled khan out the fight.

Then Guzman got inserted as no.1 without fighting at the weight, then he failed to make weight and fight.

So MAB got inserted as no.1 at 135 in WBO rankings by fighting 4 rounds against a **** fighter!???

so please leave rankings out of it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

he would be back in track. and with the LWs eliminates each other, he would be top 10...still, he needs to beat presscott if he wants to get the respect of a real contender
