Why do i still see hypocrital posters like divac who are saying pac should'nt get full credit because he fought a shot hoya?!!
If SOME OFYOU knew he was shot then you knew he was shot in the first place even before battling pac, then why are you picking hoya to tko/ko pac easily before this fight? Then after pac humiliated, dominated hoya, posters who are too dumb or hypocrital are playing safe: "nah, pac wouldn't last against a hoya of 2001 when he was still in welters.."
****ers, you hypocrites just accept the **** that you are receiving: give pac credit the credit all of you despised off to him before this fight...shame on you sorelosers..

i didnt think pac would win(eventho i hoped he would), but i didnt oscar would be so weak and slow either

i think its just as stupid to say that manny wouldve did the same thing to oscar in 2001. either way pac STILL deserves credit but if ur honest u kno this wasnt the same oscar of even 2 fights ago

I don't understand how you could try to not give Pac full credit for this performance. I was pissed at Merchant for even hinting that DLH was shot.

It was the most spectacular performance in years. The size difference was huge, unlike anything seen recently. Pac took all the risks. I admit I doubted he could pull it off, even though I was disgusted with DLH antics in the last couple of years. Pac ****ed DLH up much worse than Hopkins and it's not like DLH just got shot before this fight, he was just outclassed.

I know he was'nt the same.
But i hope some posters would just shut up and don't post stupid nonsense that are self-negating to their ****in arguments.
I mean i stayed for pac, if pac loses, guess what? I would'nt dare say hoya was too big since i posted here on esb before that size does not matter or even the weight differnece, pac would simply just outspeed hoya. If pac loses, i would just say, no excuses, hoya is a better fighter, period! .Know what i mean? Just be real.
**** this haters. They are really here just for pure hatred. I'm really pissed...

WHY DID'NT THEY JUST MADE A THREAD BEFORE THIS FIGHT THAT HOYA WAS SHOT? BECAUSEEE...
    A. IF HOYA BEATS PAC, THEY WOULD BOAST AND EVEN HIT US PACFANS THAT PAC LOST TO A SHOT HOYA..
    B. THEY ARE HOPING FOR HOYA TO WIN, SO THAT IT WOULD END THE FILIPINO HYPE JOB LIKE WHAT ONE PACTERON POSTED HERE. SO THEY ARE PRETTY CONFIDENT THAT THEY WON'T COME UP THAT HOYA WAS SHOT SO IT WON'T BE AN EXCUSE TURNED AGAINST THEM. That's pure pac hater mentality over there..
And where are them now huh?

****ers, eat sour grapes they deserve it...

I always said that he would win, and with a late stoppage at that. I still haven't seen the fight yet due to being at work last night, but if he won every round like im led to believe before the stoppage then yes, he deserves credit for the performance although too many people are going way over the top.

I expected him to struggle early and then come on strong about the 6th.

    Well done Manny :bbb

As a fan of Marquez, I would like to believe the Casamayor he fought and stopped was the same fighter who beat the great Diego Corrales. However, I'm a realist, so I can easily admit that he fought and beat a shadow of Casamayor. That's just one of many examples of shot fighters taking a beating nearing the twilight of their careers.

I regret to say, Oscar vs Pacquiao was no exception. Manny fought well, did his job, and will undeniably get credit from his fans and everybody involved with Boxing. He landed his left all night, and never took his foot off the gas in defeating the much bigger man. However, if you say what you see, you say, "Oscar looks old, he's not throwing any punches". Just look at videos of Oscar, even in the fight with Floyd not that long ago. That fighter throws punches in bunches, and has this determined look on his face. Oscar has faded quite considerably since then, or he just had big issues with the weight.

This is Boxing, it happens, and just because this is Oscar does not make it any less of a reality had it been Duran.

So full credit to Manny for doing his job, but he beat a faded Oscar. Fact.

Pac deserves full credit. C'mon, he was a 2-1 underdog. Not his fault dela Hoya wasn't as prepared as he should've been.

I expect those who thought a few of us are crazy for picking pac by tko.
I don't have to run names coz their puny names don't deserve to be run by my fingers.
Each and everyone of this individual would smirk, grin and humiliate us if we gave an explanation why.
Then they give ****en excuses, excuses that they should have done before. Hoya would lose because hoya is shot. Noo, because as a majority who thinks hoya would win would make them look anti-conformers.Hypocriets know when to make an excuse when it's time to make an excuse eh?

If he was faded did you saw a poster here made a thread," oscar is shot "before this fight? Noooooope.
But you gave pac full credit, my answer is amen. As for hoya, he needs to retire.
