Pacquaio deserves a lot of credit for last nights win. He simply destroyed a man who was favored to beat him in a weight much higher than he ever fought before. This will be Pacquaio's biggest win and one that helps make him, maybe, the biggest star in boxing. But DLH looked shot in there. Was it due to him being shot or was it due to Pacquaio? We might not know unless DLH fights again but he looked like a shot fighter who wanted to quit. Based on his less than stellar performance with Forbes and now last night its not too big a stretch to say. And obviously you can't always tell if a fighter is shot beforehand. The Forbes might may have gave clues but sometimes you just can't tell. Still, a great performance from Pacquaio and I hope he gets Mayweather next.

I knew pac was good but thought oscar would beat him by TKO in 8th. I guess i was half right. I did not expect pac to dominate that bad. What does that say for the fighters Oscar has beaten in last 5 years or fighters who have gone the distance with Oscar. I think the winners to fight pac will be Hatton and Cotto. When Margarito beat Cotto he ended up the loser for future fights. NOONE wants to fight Margarito, except maybe Williams. I'd like to see Hatton vs Cotto and winner fights pac and then that winner bring back pretty boy, unless he is truly retired. FLOYD went 12 rounds with Oscar and pac destroyed oscar. floyd killed hatton. Enough said !

PACMAN VS COTTO...THE FIGHT OF THE LITTLE GUYS.

full credit should be given to pacquiao.

come to think of it, it's not everyday you get to see a former 106 pounder moving as high as 147 pounds to fight a past prime legend in Dela Hoya who sports an obvious 5inch height advantage.

and i don't think we'll see another gross physical handicapped fight, and a feat of this magnitude to go along, in the next few years or even a decade at least..

so i would strongly suggest all of us be thankful to have witnessed a great fighter in manny having pitted with a legendary fighter in ODLH.

though others would deny pac his due credit because of pride and probably hate, given the devastating outcome, still it wouldn't hurt that much if you guys try to accept the result and deal with it!:deal

    Freddie Roach: "He was shot"

Still, Manny has made history in beating Oscar. Never thought I'd see the day that Hoya would be dominated. He had an aura.

i knew pac was gonna win but....i didn't think Oscar would go out like that

he took Oscars ass to the trenches and buried him there, it was ****in amazing....that **** was historical

anyone who doesn't give Pac credit should go watch Tap Dancing and give up on being a boxing fan, that **** was great......Pac is the greatest fighter of our era, i dont care who he loses to after this

Even if he was shot, then why did'nt some of you gave pac even a slim chance to win before this fight?
So shot or not, that doe'snt save anyone here who made fun of us pacfans for picking pac to win at least by decision, and call names to us on saying pac would win by tko, as "casual fans" who does'nt know boxing.
Do you know my explanation why pac would win by tko? That's because hoya drained too much, and that would make him sluggish come fight night. Hit him in the torso is the right game plan. Remember pac-em2 and 3 where em was having problems making the weight? Same scenario. Stamina would play as suspect to hoya.
I did'nt post it knowing some would just make fun of me..but now i saw a certain poster named divac saying pac should'nt get full credit? STFU divac! Whose lyin' now?

Manny will undoubtedly get credit, and rightfully so. There is no need to worry about that.

But there has to be a certain amount of honesty involved. A lot of people hate Oscar here, I don't know if it's because he's richer than them or his wife is hotter than their wife, but they do. Those people will completely bypass the fact Oscar was shot in this fight. They can do that, and power to them. I certainly won't however.

This is in the same bracket of all the great fighters of the past that went on to long.

hats off to manny, to go from flyweight to welter is sensational. another nail in the coffin of american boxing. manny proved so many people wrong and deserves full credit.

Some are expected not give credit to Pac on this sensational TKO victory. But let them think of this:

I will make it easier for this pacterons to understand

Is it "a former 106 pounder beating a former 160 pounder" seems more aptly suited?
