I think history will be kind to Mayweather. I don't thinl we apricite how good he is. However he would have to do a lot more to break in to my top 3 of
Pernell Whitaker, Benny Leonard and Sugar Ray Robinson. I think Mayweather is somewhere in the top 25 allready. If he were to beat Hatton I think we can talk about him being in the top 10 but I'm not sure he's in the top 10. There are a lot of good fights out there for him from 140 (if he can still make that weight)-154. If he were to win a tittle at 160 I would be realy impressed.
The short answer to your question is no.

If he puts on a dominate performance and stops hatton....................no......B/c I expect him to win... But if he gets ONE more after Hatton then I am putting him shoulder to shoulder with the best. Say he takes the Cotto/Shane winner and win...Years from now RJJ and Mayweather will be looked at as phenoms..

i honestly think if he beats hatton he dosent really have to fight the winner of mosley and cotto to retire as the best in the game right now, and top 10 all time

i think he has to get into a time machine and go back and fight leonard, duran and robinson in order for these people to give him the recognition and props that he deserves,

Roy was a more talented fighter then Mayweather IMO, however if your talking talent wise, then maybe (definitely not IMO) you could consider him up with the best. . Resume wise, Mayweather won't even come close to the top ATG's. I don't really understand how you have come to this conclusion however since it appears you are looking solely at his resume...

:good:rofl:rofl:rofl I know. It seems that they forget..that though he did not fight the quote biggest names and best comp..but every fighter he faced since his 18th pro fight beating hernandez excluding the extreme tune up of Burton/augustus. He fought championship level fighters that were ranked contenders..Its not like he was fighting tomato cans ..he fought decent guys in between the good fighters...he has been a champion since 1998 and never lost none of his straps in the ring.........Whats even funnier he started his career in 1996..lol most guys would of gased out and been done by 2003:yep

Why wont he....that sounds kind of half ******ed to me...anybody doesnt move up 5 weight classes and stays undefeated in doing so..its not just the competition its the BIG picture the skill ...MAKING history..having a stellar amateur career..though he was robbed at the olympics... ATG status rubbing shoulders with the Haglers and the Leonards...Durans etc...

I can never rank floyd top 3 ......that is insane...SRR, SRL, Duran...ALI....those great fighters of the 20s..... I mean I put him over a lot of the top guys but he cannot break top 10 unless he goes on fighting 3 more years

You really think he's that good or are you just trying to provoke ****? Before we can even speculate that he's better than SRR, SRL, Pep, Duran has he really proven that P4P he's better than more current champs like Whitaker, Chavez, Barrera, and Hop?

You prove your skill against great competition. Otherwise it remains unproven. His competition has not sufficed to prove his skill can carry him to the top 10 all time.
