back to the question. pavlik is either going to knock espino the hell out, brutally, or get taken the distance while beating up on the guy. since I already know that is the outcome, 99 percent, why would I drop money on it? i'd rather just steer clear of boxing news sites and download it a few hours after it airs
He's had one fight, against M. A. Rubio, who was a MANDATORY challenger. (If you don't know what that means, ask!) Since then, he's had a severe staph infection and lost the ability to make a fist (let alone punch!) for an extended period. Is he supposed to fight one-handed? One-legged? Standing on his head?
Yes -- according to half of ESB Pavlik should fight with one hand, one leg, and one eye, and he should do that against the top guys at 168-175. If he doesn't, he's a ***** and a scrub who has no credibility. If he does that, and loses, he was always over rated. Welcome to ESB.
As much as I used to like Pavlik and want to continue liking the guy, I can't. This fight is a joke and has no business being on PPV. I'd watch it for free just to watch a fight but I have very little interest in Pavlik mismatches.
Hyperbole: A figure of speech in which exaggeration is used for emphasis or effect, as in I could sleep for a year or This book weighs a ton
Well, nothing said on ESB would shock me. :yep Hyperbole is not to be assumed around here when dealing with outrageous statements.
this absurd ppv just confirms for me that Pavlik is on the retirement tour. He's the JCC Jr. of the middleweight division: fight bums, charge good money to see it, get out before you have to fight a legitimate opponent. Pavlik will never, ever fight a legitimate contender again. You can call me on it if I'm wrong, but I doubt I will be .
