the casua fans know the names of these fighters...and tito has alot of loyal fans who would buy the fight....sad but true
As far gone as Roy is right now, I bet Tito will look even worse. Extremely sluggish, slow, not much snap, or stamina. I don't care to pay 50 dollars for this fight...
**** i will i order all PPV excpet the VARGAS vsMAYO i caught that on ESPN classic the next weekend with a part of the under card
I have heard that there will be a 24/7 for the fight. I thought that I read it a few wks ago on b*****confiden****. I'm sorry I don't have a link though... I wouldn't be surprised if there is one though. Regardless if they're over the hill, it is 2 boxing superstars. Most people probably didn't see Roy lose to Johnson or Tarver the second time. And even more so, don't even know that he fought 2 opponents since then. So for the casual boxing fan, he's coming out of retirement too. There going to milk this for all its worth, cuz the winner will for sure get one more huge payday while the loser drifts off to either obscurity or commentating!
Maybe to see Golota vs Mollo, two fine Chicago heavyweights. :yep But this really shouldn't be on PPV. :verysad
I haven't read about a 24/7 anywhere. I doubt they'll have one if they haven't mentioned anything about it yet. The fight is just over 1 month away, which means the first episode of 24/7 would have to start airing in less than two weeks from now (unless they just cut it down to 2 shows instead of 4). I think they'll probably just do the same type of countdown special they did with fights like Cotto/Mosley and Pacman/Barrera. Taylor/Pavlik II makes a lot more sense for them to do a 24/7 on, seeing as how Arum and HBO want to build up Pavlik as the next big star in boxing.
I don't think there is a 24/7 countdown for this fight because Tito is tubby and out of shape....who wants to see that
Fair enough. I'm actually cheating on this one; im not going to order it.......but I will be going to a friends house to see it :yep
