I admire Calzaghe, but Calzaghe is taking a huge risk coming into Hopkins turf and fighting him. The ref and judges will be on Hopkin's side. I think that Calzaghe can beat the judges, ref, commentators, etc, beat them all!!!!!!! Calzaghe is extremely underrated, but this is a trap by the provincial biased US media and promoters. Still, Joe can do it!!!!!!!

Calzaghe's going to annihilate Hopkins, it's an after thought.

tough, tough fight for joe, bhop is the master spoiler, he takes away your smoothness, that said, taylor did him twice and joe is a huge amount better than taylor, so on that basis calzaghe ud

Hopkins is vastly over rated these days, he landed an average of what, 12 punches per round against Winky in an absolute snooze-fest? People keep saying how smart/dirty Hopkins is, but Calzaghe can do some spoiling of his own and has shown for years that when he needs to he can totally adjust his style. He's better on the inside and better on the outside and is an unorthodox stylistic nightmare for anyone. I dont see the lead right hands landing like some are predicting, Calzaghe is too slippery.

Fact is that Hopkins is making a bigger step up in quality than Calzaghe is. Calzaghe has everything against him going into the fight but he is real class and knows he needs the stoppage to win. JC by late ko.

Strange question to ask the British Forum.

Yes I want to see Calzaghe obliterate Hopkins.

I want to see a brutal knockout or stoppage.

Well I know nationalism is a little un-PC these days but when a Brit fights a foreigner I always support the Brit.

It's not Joe CAN do it, Joe WILL do it!!!

Joes coming back with the linear title at 175!!!

He should then beat on Woods and retire.

There are no really strong arguments for this version of Hopkins beating Calzaghe. It might be messy and unimpressive but I cant see Joe loosing this one.
