Definetly. I would definetly support Floyd if he fights Cotto because he would become MW champ as well and then he can not duck GGG anymore. Damn, GGG vs. Floyd in MW!! This would be awesome. For all this ducking, boring fighting etc. would Floyd get what he deserves. Being knocked out in round 1.

I completely understand Floyd going for history by securing the middleweight championship in beating Cotto. However, this would only be if Floyd had a history of challenging himself and trying to elevate his ATG status. He doesn't do that though. He is a cherry picker, taking the biggest money fight for smallest risk.

The other sad thing is of course he'll force Cotto to come in at a weight that Floyd wants him to.

Who is the baddest middleweight out there? Golovkin.

Who is the other bad ass welter? Pacquaio.

Those are the choices Floyd, if you truly want to call yourself a top 25 fighter of all time (or TBE, hahahaha).

Whomever supported Pac vs Rios and Algieri need their boxing card torn up. Bradley wasn't nearly as bad, he's a top 10 pfp player.

As a hardcore boxing community, we need to speak with our dollars. Stop buying these stupid ppv fights and these guys will have no choice but to make matchups that the public want.

These fighters need to be held accountable.

If mayweather chooses to fight cotto instead then hes proven to the world and all blinded floyd fanboys that he is s*** scared of the pacman.

Fights anyone other than pacman and no respectable boxing fan will buy it. Paying to watch a coward, no thank you.

Plenty of "fans" around here say they'll buy it.

We need to boycott this ***** until he fights Pac.

Pac-Bradley I did support. But Pac-Rios , Pac-Algieri? Why do you think the PPV numbers of those events sucked?

Yeah you guessed it right, because significantly less people supported that BS. Nobody is comparing Algieri and Rios to Cotto the question is why would you go the Cotto route when you can earn 4x more at fighting who the fans wanted you to fight in an event which is arguably the biggest fight in boxing in this era.

I can't get excited for this fight. I already saw it once, and both guys are more faded now than they were then.

There's no way I would buy this fight. I respect both fighters, but we already saw it and there was no real need for a rematch.

Floyd will not be going to a weight class anywhere NEAR GENNADY GOLOVKIN. The last thing he wants to do is show GGG that he can make that weight, heck freaking no. Stay away, Floyd. Stay away for the sake of your life.

But, on the Cotto note, no. I would have initiated my "Floyd-cott" by then.

If Mayweather takes the MW belt he should be forced the fight GGG Who is currently the mandatory fighter for the WBC if he's man enough to fight for it and get all the admiration and for been a 6 weight champ and all that then he should defend it, instead he'll fight cotto for the belt at 155, add it to his collection and bloat out his resume and then never defend it and the lineal title at 160 will be broken
