    One major element missing in this hypothetical is the length of the fight. If it's a 45-rounder like the Johnson fight, I give Willard a very good chance. If it's 20-15-12 rounds, the likelihood of Willard winning diminishes exponentially, IMO. Much like the Willard-Johnson in 1915.

    So speed and balance cancel out the weight argument? Just making sure. What about strength, corner, endurance, power? Idk in all seriousness I know little of these guys. Just watching Langford he seems over rated to me but what do I know? P4p amazing though for what he accomplished

    Sam had power and endurance and strength, also.

    I would check out Clay Moyle's book on Sam for context.
