Battle of the middleweight Lee’s. Two men who could both punch but were vulnerable. Think it would make an exciting slugfest for about 4-5 rounds

I've only ever seen Dangerous Don get beat up by Mike Watson. I was not impressed. I'd pick the Caveman to land the more important shots I think, and knock Dangerous out at some point. Who knows though really!

I remember watching Watson beat up Lee, became an instant fan. Good performance from Michael.

Lee was a dangerous (and chinny) puncher. His fight with Tony Sibson was fun. Also drew with Doug DeWitt and landed some good shots against undefeated rising star Michael Olajide before getting stopped.

Caveman Lee was a talented puncher but very easy to hit and wasn´t great against southpaws being easily stopped by Hagler and Frank Fletcher.

If Lee survives the early rounds (big if) I wouldn´t be too surprised if he stops the Caveman in about 8.

    Would be a terrific fight.

    Such a fun fight!

Give me two flawed punchers in a mythical matchup every time rather than two ATGs who might cancel each other out.

Don Lee’s fight with Tony Sibson is one of my favourites from that time period where there were two tiers in the middleweight division - Marvin Hagler and everyone else.

I lean towards Caveman but with no sense of certainty whatsoever, except to say it’s a fight that wouldn’t need a decision.

The sure winner is boxing, Goo. I think Lee had slightly better efforts at the top of their resume. I'll side with him, with not much confidence.

Yep, Lee is definitely the safe bet here, John!
