    fought some good Top men, at Home & Abroad.

    at a time when Top Men were World Classed from all LEADING Nations and Not just from the USA or proposed Top 10.

    he was a worthy recipient... and I am not a fan of him either... not my period of interest, generally speaking.

    I don't know men by the look of his resume he dosen't even look top 50 all time and I don't think I ever saw him on another top flyweights list,maybe it was a typing error.

    There was no internet and Boxrec at that time, so he could be sold to the public as the champion of Europe and Great Britain which was almost the rest of the world outside of USA.
