Just reading out on him now, due to another late night boxrec rabbit hole session. Freddie Steele is one of my all-time favorites that was before my time, but I never rated his win against Jones to be so good until tonight when I learned a lot more about Jones. I was looking for more about him, but there isn't much, except an ebook with a 1 star review as it's only review. He fought damn near 100 years ago now, but was wondering if anyone has anything to add about him. Apparently Steel was the only one to knock him down in 166 outings, and that was only for a 3 count. I'd love to know if someone has some more in depth info they could lead me to about him.
