I am genuinely impressed by Zepeda here. I did not expect him to stop Hughes at all.

Jono Carroll , Straffon, and Ryan Walsh, Paul Hyland Jr, etc are not even world class how can they be B level? They are domestic level fighters. B level fighters are generally world level contenders, even some world champions. Someone like David Lemuiex was regarded as a B level fighter and he is a class above those fighters listed. You are too generous with your classifications. Kambosis is a limited fighter who was a one hit wonder, beating him does not suddenly elevate you over your whole career.

If those fighters are B and Maxi hughes beat them that means you think Maxi Hughs is a B+ level fighter right?

They're not at the same weight class. But at 135, yes.

Just seen the last 2 fights now, great performance from Schofield.....him in with Keyshawn or someone like Mason next or few fights down the line would be sweet.

& boy did Zepeda put a beating on our boy Maxi. That last round was a hard watch.

Lightweight divison looks pretty stacked right now.

How about we just skip the labels and agree Hughes is just not very good. Call that what you want. This was an obvious mismatch the moment it was signed but apparently we should now be impressed he beat up a 9-1 underdog. Ye ok.

Zepeda was literally built to beat Stevenson. I doubt there's a style out there that would give him more fits.

Zepeda is a textbook urination fighter. For those of you who don't know what a urination fighter is. Figuratively speaking, a urination fighter is a pressure fighter who will urinate all over you if you allow them to get into their rhythm and Zepada has a particularly strong stream and he will soak you to the bone once he gets into his rhythm. Figuratively speaking, I'd quite like to see him urinate on Shakur.

Feel bad for Maxi who was robbed against Kambosos and now this. Not suggesting he would've won even if things had gone more smoothly but it can't have helped his chances and he's such a humble nice guy he deserves better luck.

Barely caught up with the action. Man Zepeda looks like hell on earth, even vs an opponent that isn’t easy to look good against. He kinda of reminds me of a young Prograis, but perhaps better.
