I feel it's significant that most people had Zepeda sweeping rounds 8-10 ...and @LilButt pointed out that he was putting a bit of a beating on Farmer in round ten. So the rematch being scheduled two additional rounds, if anything, is a huge boon for the defending champ.

Although the inconsistency does confuse me.

Last time was for the WBC interim lightweight world title - scheduled for 10.

Now the rematch is for the same WBC interim lightweight world title - scheduled for 12.

...not to mention, the Mexican crowd is going to ROAR for every flush Zepeda shot.

Of those he might have only seen Beterbiev so far (they had the Bivol rematch on at Dave & Buster's while we were there). I'll correct that soon enough and show him some Pacman and Krusher.

What do you make of Collazo's chances against Taduran and the Shigeoka bros btw? I like Collazo but there's something about his style that seems a bit fragile and incomplete, I can't really put my finger on it tbh.
