Look at the haters, scared that PWill will fight their favorite fighter at 147, so taking the HBO and Lampley route of saying its ok to duck him because he is tall. I'm glad Sugar Ray wasn't a ***** like most of the people in this thread who think Pwill should be blacklisted.

This 'Williams should fight men his own size' **** must end.

If he can make the weight, he can fight whoever the hell he wants. Period.

Wladimir / Vitali / Valuev should get there own divisinon, Super Heavyweights, and let them fight until 2 of them are dead.

You guys know what, If we just take height into everything, shouldn't Williams be fighting at Heavyweight since there are guys 6'2 there as well? Hell Mike Tyson was only 5'10, 5'11. Shouldn't Oscar De La Hoya and Antonio Margarito be fighting at Heavyweight as well? Or is this a ******ed bitching thread. I'm going with the latter.

I don't think williams can make 147 safely anymore....Sure he could eventually sweat down to it, but I have a suspicion he will look lack luster at 147 this time around...

He gets hit way too easily....Williams kyptonite is speed and counter punchers...He will destroy most pressure fighters...

Man, this is BS. Do you think that Celestino Caballero should be forced to move up five or six weight classes because he's so much taller than the other Featherweights? I'm not a Williams fan, but this line of criticism is idiotic. If you make weight in a division, you can legitimately fight in that division.

How? He already had one belt. Why the hell didn't he keep defending it and try to go after another belt. He unifies belts and all the big fights come to him. He just wanted to get the big fights without doing the hard work to get them. He had no fan base. He has to build it by fighting and collecting belts.

YEs he had a belt but no one wanted to fight him for it. Financially it would have been POOR to sit and defend against no namers. He had to move up in weight to make a decent check. It's not his fault. Dan goosen said Williams next fight will be at 147, if there is no rematch with kermit of course.
