Williams almost had Stevenson out of there

Look. I'm not into trying to interpret what another poster is saying but I agree with you, AND I'm adding that Williams fought a dumbass fight. Sure the fans got their money's worth, but he can't get back what happened to him tonight.

 

Williams put in a gutsy performance, but Stevenson's power is incredible, he really does structure his positioning more towards power punches (and makes use of his own body very well) when throwing those punches.

I want someone to hurry up and retire Stevenson. He is a cancer to the sport.

 

He just produced one of the best fights of the year for free on PBC and he's a cancer to the sport?

Really wish Dawson wouldn't have gotten injured. I would have favored him to beat what's his name last night.

 

A lot of people picked Williams to win pre fight. I didn't see it tbh.

Stevenson is obviously a class operator. That beyond dispute.

I think we're all waiting for him to either face Kovalev or grow old.

The fight was truly hard to watch after the crawford vs postol masterpiece

Yea I agree, caught flush and pushed back maybe, but I never saw him retreat. Top Dog was sort of throwing arm punches or something, admitredly i had a massive buzz but something about his technique looked like it was lacking. Is he known as a puncher?

That was a good fight... Williams brought it 100%. Stevenson would KO anyone not named Ward in that division.

 

So why didn't he knock out Sakio Bika or Fonfara?

He's on a short leash while Haymon waits for his popularity to grow enough to build up the cash out fight for Adonis.

Expect Beterbiev to get Dawson next, then Bute, then Pascal, then take the title from Superbiitch just before his 40th birthday. :thumbsup
