with more activity and better boxing acumen. Pavlik is easy to hit as you saw with Taylor and Hopkins. Pavlik has a big punch but hard to get off with a guy throwing 100+ punches a round.

and pwilly is easy to hit as well which no one denies. and the volume of punches isnt what makes it hard for pav to get off. its lateral movement (particularly to pav's left) and the constant changing of the angles the punches are coming. pav has never had a problem trading with a guy willing to stand there and trade like williams has shown a willingness to do.

all this is what makes the fight one that should be a blast to watch. williams WILL get hit and he will get hit flush. some think he can take pav's power and outwork pav for a UD. i don't think pw is ready for power like pav's YET. maybe one day but not now. pwilly may be up when it finally happens but it will happen....pav ko/tko 8-10.

PW fight style is similar to Edison Mirandas such as they are both easy to hit and will stand and slug it out. PW has never been hit as hard as pavlik throws. That will be the test. If he can withstand Pavliks power then he wins it. If not, lights out.

It's not as if Pavlik is Hopkins II, throwing 5 punches a round in the last or first 10 seconds. Trying to beat Pavlik by volume with his usual style of probably willingly taking punches is suicide for Williams. He seems prone to swelling and cuts, and this will lose him the fight even if he can keep upright.

Hopkins has put too much doubt in Kelly's mind. Pavlik won't even acknowledge that he got a boxing lesson, so he probably didn't learn anything . Thus he goes against Williams as a slightly underconfident slugger. Kelly's self doubt will increase as the fight wears on , and Paul Williams will grind out a unanimous decision win.

I think the only lesson he got with hopkins was you don't fight a decent fighter when sick

kelly's gonna kill PW, then everyone will be saying how kelly really is great, was underestimated blah blah

kelly needs to fight hopkins again and give him a knockout lesson, then get a new trainer

you are basing what kelly learned about the hopkins fight on what he has said (or didnt say) in public??? if you have some sort of secret watergate type recording of pav telling jack in private that bhop aint **** or that he didnt get a boxing lesson, then you should know better.

having said that you still may be right, but i disagree.

Only, PW can fight going backwards, going side to side. Something Edison Miranda never could do.

Comparing the two is quite ignorant.

LMAO here comes the Kelly nuthuggers. The Hopkins fight turned into Kelly having malaria, flu, AIDS, and strep throat. Will they ever admit "The Ghost" was beaten legitly?

Didn't Hopkins also initially refuse to acknowledge his loss to RJJ? Guess he didn't learn anything from that fight, and just went on to become a journeyman...

    Oh wait - :patsch

It's not as if Pavlik fights at a slow pace, is it?

Same goes for williams.. williams is not actually a defensive wizard. Antonio Margocheato landed some good shots on him. I dont expect williams to take too many power shots from pavlik or he'll end up like hatton did against pacman. :D

People think Williams will replicate what Hopkins did. No one will. Williams is easy to hit as well as Pavlik. It will be good as long as it last but Pavlik will stop Williams.
