Williams-Cintron HBO Discussion Thread

It appears PW is taking his time compared to previous fights

 

As tall as PW is he should have a devastating jab. To often PW's jab doesn't connect.

 

Round 2

Cintron measuring Williams, left hand down at his knee, bouncing on his knees and turning his body to the side. PW moving in a sort of rhythm on the outside, swinging his elbows and shifting his weight from foot to foot. Kermit lunges with a right and PW leans all the way back to avoid it. PW tries to load up a left and it sails over Kermit's head. Kermit unable to get a counter off in time, as they collide and quickly separate. PW now winning the jab battle simply by throwing more of his and backing Cintron up a bit. Cintron manages to touch PW's belly with a short uppercut. Cintron jabs and is picked off, throws a 1-2 and misses. PW jabs and is picked off. Throws a 1-2 and Cintron ducks it.

Very close rounds. Not a whole lot to split.

 

i gave round 2 to cintron. Williams scared of cintron right hand.

 

Booing from the crowd!

Not much action there, Williams not wanting to jump in as Cintron is lining up the counter.

Very impressed with Cintron's timing and counters. PW losing rounds.

 

wtf is wrong with williams ? hes aint breaking ribs, jaw or killing nobody dead

Williams timing looks off.

 

I dont know about being afraid, I believe PW still has a little residual from Sergio Martinez.

 

Cintron is doing better than I expected.

 

Basically, Cintron is doing what I would see Floyd doing against Paul.
