I agree with that. I had Cintron ahead. I gave him the first 2 (just) and then the 4th for landing a big shot on Williams (enough to win a 30 second round). It should be a NC though IMO. I don't have an issue with the scorecards really. Both hardly did anything and it depends what you are looking for as a judge. Cintron landed better, but Williams was busier. I managed to dodge this result until this morning and now I know why. I accidently saw a glimpse of someone surrounded on the floor before I watched the full fight, and saw that the fight was short, so I was expecting a big KO. Oh dear. atsch
I don't think he jumped out of the ring, because watching it at normal speed it did look like he tripped out, slow motion can be a misleading at times. However it didn't look good that he didn't make an attempt to get back up. The doctors weren't there straight away, and your instinct would be to get up instead of lying face down for so long. Unless he banged his head during the fall and was stunned, I'm not sure that he did or not. Knowing Cintrons nature it fits that he would make a meal of it, even if he didn't intend for the the fight to be called off.
chaps it is unusual but there is a terrific bitchy insider thread on the general. Read: http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showthread.php?t=225428
I've talked to conditioner before about Cintron and he definitely knows what he is talking about. Told me the exact same things before the Angulo fight but always has praise for his ability. Have to laugh at some of the general trying to out him as a fake especially the one who talks about his legs for some reason Definitely worth a read that thread.
