i dont think Clottey would be much of a threat because he is too inactive. Williams would out work him IMO. But then again Clottey is a good counter puncher. i think it would depend on how Williams would handle Clottey's punch. If he could handle it well, then I see Williams out working him.

 

Williams is 1-1 with cotto's ***** for crying out loud!

 

Clottey is a crisp, accurate counter puncher. He won't need that high of an output to beat Williams. Clottey also has a good left hook and a good straight right. Those are two effective punches against Williams. If Williams came in there trying to throw 100 punches a round, he would lose. Clottey would counter him silly. If he fought with a controlled pace, he could take the decision.

 

He's also 1-0 against Cotto's daddy.

It looks like Margo and his fans want it to be later. That's interesting considering they all say Margo will walk all over Williams.

 

Realistically there's a good chance this fight will take place as soon as possible, aka 2009 per Goosens offer. Margarito wants to fight before the year is out, which is a different issue then a PW rematch, people are confusing the two.

he cant bang a full 12 rds with strong ww, shane had him running in there fight and we see what margo did.the truth hurts i guess, but i can see why williams said that.

 

It's a whole other level of fighter who excells in the championship rounds...if your not a 12 round fighter it's OK.
