Williams Deserves Credit for the Win

It didnt come from ESB asswipe, it came from the gyms and fighters I've spoken with who have trained and sparred with him.

Get a grip and face the facts.

 

You think that fighting with a torn rotator cuff and broken ribs means he has no heart and no balls? Not to mention giving an immediate rematch to the guy who gave him the toughest fight of his career? How does that add up?

 

Well lets see, novice. Sparring partners travel. Stories travel. Especially when there is a fighter being hyped up to the proportions that Berto has. I've heard several different accounts of two separate times that he was dropped by different sparring partners.

I've been telling you this for month after month and you didnt believe me.

Now, when he's dropped on national television by a guy who couldnt last two minutes with Judah, another fighter known for not having the best of chins, you start throwing insults at me.

FACE THE FACTS.

 

Definitely a man who has never had the balls to step foot in the ring himself.

I'd bet my life on it.

 

You're an idiot. Go hang out at a real boxing gym sometime. You might learn a thing or two about boxing culture.

Who do you think Berto was sparring on his way up? You think that he started with the elites? Have you ever heard of people who try to make ends meet or earn a living by providing sparring services? They travel too.

Like I said, you cant face the facts because they werent reported by some boxing site. You know where boxing sites get their information? Hmmmm, maybe from the people you ACTUALLY find in a gym.

 

It was a tune up after the first Spinks bout.

And I know where youre going with this, but a glass chin is a glass chin.

And you dont have to tell me, I was ringside.

 

If you've seen Williams in other fights you would know he is fast.

 

Of course he deserves credit not just for the win but for fighting the fight he fought he could have easily stayed on the outside and won that way, Not only the way he fought or for his win, but for taking a fight with a man that none of the top welters wanted. Big ups to Paul for showing some balls.

 

It was a fight between the two most overrated fighters out there today, and so until Williams fights someone like Cotto or Clottey or Mosley, he's going to stay overrated. He deserves credit for beating a very limited but tough guy, but if you're looking for him to be called a world beater because of it, don't hold your breath.

 

only an idiot doesnt give PW credit for his performance. . . AM deserves credit too. . . that was a helluva entertaining fight - much better than DLH-FMJ, Taylor-Spinks, Hops-Winky.
