That cuts to the bull****. Clottey evens wants to fight or shut his mouth & keep walking. Should be a great fight.

berto feels likes he's the best...what's wrong with that? That's how he's supposed to feel right or wrong.

I love the spirited remarks from Williams. You guys are right regarding Berto. I really like his potential, but he needs to keep himself in check with his comments about being the best until he is ready to fight guys like Williams and Margarito.

However, I have a great deal of trouble seeing how Williams/Clottey could be made for Nov. 29. It's a BAD and Arreola will be on the undercard. Will they have the money to sign a fight like that? Clottey isn't a big draw so he might be willing to accept a smaller purse than one would expect, but I assume it would still be stretching things.

Gotta respect Paul Williams. the guy is the only one that is willing to speak another fighter's name. he already beat who many for some reason consider to be the man and is still calling out all the other belt holders just to clear up the scene. Lets get it done.

PW- Undisputed Welterweight Champion of the World?

    soon enough.

Great, he feels he's the best, I doubt very seriously he'll get in with the best anytime soon.

Again confirming that when chin-checking is not involved, your analysis carrys little weight.

Well at least he's finally admitting that he slaps. As far as him actually going through with either of these fights, I'll believe it when I see it.

I actually think he matches up better against Clottey, as Clottey is similar to Margarito in that he'll be coming forward and will be right in front of PW but with less activity. However, Clottey keeps his hands up and has good D (a la Winky, Abraham). He definitely isn't going to knock out Clottey. It really depends on the judges and whether they'll be giving Paul credit for his slaps that get blocked. Also, Clottey is a quick, strong counter puncher and PW would provide him with plenty of counter opportunities (overhand left anyone). And he hits a hell of a lot harder than Carlos Quintana. I'd definitely like to see it.

The Prophet predicts that PW vs Clottey, PW = :!:

I think that Clottey is bluffing. Not that he is scared but he banged up his hand in the Judah fight and was said to be without sparring for 3 months, which would leave him about 2 weeks to train for the Nov 29 date.

I think Williams is serious about fighting these guys. However, I doubt a unification bout takes place on Nov. 29. When is the last time there's been a unification bout on BAD? If Clottey is serious, there's no reason the fight can't get made for the 1st quarter of 2009.
