Williams: "In The Rematch Margarito Will Be Knocked Out In The 6th Round"

Tommy Hearns couldn't knock Margarito out in the 6th. There's no way Williams even stops him.

 

Man Paul is making me wanna see this fight more and more. This fight better happen

 

i see your point, but i dont think paul has the power to hurt margarito. i say this b/c i thinnk he has to kill himself to make weight probably, which may in turn decrease his power over the course of a 12 round fight. i doubt he hits harder than Cotto and definitely not Cintron. Cintron hit Marg with decent shots and Cotto hit him with everything and Margarito didnt flinch. So i have hard time seeing paul able to KO him.

Of course, anything is possible, but not probable.

 

I doubt he's that dumb to actually attempt such a feat. He just said it in all probability to hype the rematch with a little trash talk. If he really tries to knock out Margo he'll be the one that ends up on his back staring at the lights and wondering WTF just happened.

 

Williams is gonna make this fight happen. He really wants the guy again.

 

No possible way, IMO. Cintron was catching Margarito on the end of his shots and nothing happened. Margarito will be feeling all punches more as his career progresses. Once the wheels come off he'll start tasting the canvass again - but I seriously doubt Williams will be the one to do it.

Man I really do hope he tries though. Easier fight for Margarito that way.

 

Margarito is a counterpuncher. That's a big part of what he does. He has to counter because he's got slow hands. He waits for opponents to throw and then he does his thing. Have you not seen the Williams fight? That was a counterpunching festival for Margarito. That's basically the only way that Margarito could score on Williams - by countering.

 

paul is the welterweight version of calzaghe. he doesnt put anything behind his punches. he slaps mostly with an occasional full forced punch. you cant expect someone like that KO some one like Margarito, especially within 6 rounds.

cotto is a much better puncher than williams and couldnt hurt tony. he busted up his face really good, but never hurt him at all.

 

The only fighter that I seened that was able to visibly hurt Margo with one punch was Daniel Santos and he was'nt able to follow it up so I doubt Williams can achive that feat.
