Even though Paul Williams fought a somewhat faded version of Winky Wright, Paul's win is way bigger than anything Abraham has ever done at 160. Head to head I also think Williams would have an excellent chance of winning a pretty convincing UD over Arthur. If LuJaun Simon can finish on his feet, and win 4-5 rounds in the process, one must assume that Williams would give AA a much tougher night. The top 5 at 160 looks like this now:

    Pavlik
    Williams
    Abraham
    Sturm
    Mundine

Your crazy man AA has way to much power for Williams. We are talking about a biig guy who struggles to make 160 and packs serious one punch KO power plus Williams would not be able to hurt AA.

How original of you. If resume, no, a win over Winky, 2 years out of the ring, last fight a loss at LHW, doesn't put him on the top of the MW list (top3), where he only fought a top40 guy before. Kelly and Arthur are very close no1 and no2 and if Williams can beat Abraham, he can beat Pavlik as well, therefore you either put him ahead of both, or below both. Anyways, your list man, but I absolutely disagree. I never put Williams at the top of 154 when he beat Phillips for this interim belt when Dzinziruk was the full champ, neither I am putting him ahead of the champs Pavlik, Abraham and even Sturm at 160.

I've been on this board for 2 1/2 years, so I know how you guys operate. After Pavlik stomps the **** out of Abraham BigBone and Taylex will demote AA to club fighter, and claim Williams would have beat him quicker.

Why is Mundine ranked so high? This guy gets so much love on ESB it is unreal. He is famous for getting KTFO by Otkke and looking good against C+ Fighters.

Why is Mundine ranked so high? Because 160 is so shallow.

Williams' resume beats the hell out of AA's any day. Margarito, Quintana, Wright etc. are leagues above anyone AA ever fought. PW's an active, speedy, dynamic fighter who's winning convincingly against top opponents, rather than curling up in a ball in the corner against chumps and waiting for Sauerland to hand wads of cash to the judges for you.

After Pavlik gobbles up AA in November, Pavlik vs. Williams will be a classy fight. If only Mora weren't in the way, we could be looking forward to this by the end of the year.

That's just ridiculous and stupid especially considering Abraham wanted to fight Wright way before Williams but got declined. Williams ranks below Abraham and I sure as hell hope Arum makes the fight with Abraham after the useless fight with Mora.

Williams is NOT a better opponent/middleweight than Abraham.
