For fighting Zab? Well, I think the excuse is that Miguel was supposed to face the guy Floyd truly did not want to get in the ring with, but Margarito backed out to fight Williams. Do you disagree?

But I forget, is Cotto considered to be p4p #1? No one needs to defends Cotto's words about his own greatness, b/c up to now those words have not come out of his mouth.

Seriously, does it bother people here that a young, undefeated, HUMBLE fighter is beating the same guys the p4p #1 is, but doing it more impressively?

I agree that Mosley is a one of the best WWs. But also are Mayweather and Cotto. Williams, Cintron, and Margarito arent on the that level yet.

    WBC

    WELTERWEIGHT.- (147-66.678)
    CHAMPION: FLOYD MAYWEATHER Jr. (US)
    INTERIM CHAMPION: SHANE MOSLEY (US)
    WON TITLE: November 4, 2006

As you can see, Ring mag and the BC in the top group. Amazingly? The BA and BF and BO(the Bo isnt current as they still have marg as Champ) dont have him in the top ten and their rankings are unbelievably TERRIBLE and not just because they dont have Mosley listed at all:? Anyone in need of a good laugh should review those.

As for my opinion of why he's there?? His most recent win over Collazo was a good win and showed that he still has something in him. Also he was the BA, BC champ in 2003 with his win over DLH and hasnt had a loss at 47 since. he had two losses to Wright at 54 but that's a different weight. So, with no loss at 47 since 2002 to Forrest and a most recent win over Collazo, he's in my top group.

Like I said, Margarito by virtue of the loss needs a good win to reassert himself in that group. Margarito vs Judah seems like a very good matchup between two fighters in the same boat wanting to get back in the championship picture.

Margarito wasnt ko'd but he still lost. Therefore losing his spot in the top group to Williams. I'm not spelling the end of his career by any means, but it's CLEAR he needs victory to get himself back in that group.

You mention Judah and that's the perfect opponent for Marg, IMO, both guy's are in the same boat right now trying to reestablish.

A Marg vs judah Winner could make a case to fight a Williams or SSM vs Cotto winner (if it happens), or PBF vs Hatton winner (if it happens), or Cintron.

Because so many people have dispatched Baldomir.

Now I clearly know that you are not a good addition to ESB.

    Welcome hater.

Hatton fears the welterweight division, just imagine if hatton had stayed and fought somebody like clottey, cintron, margarito, mosley or williams.

Hatton's best suited at 40 and even if he beats PBF he wont be likely to go to/stay at 47.

You might change my statement to the PBF vs hatton winner or loser. If PBF wins he's already 47 Champ, if Hatton wins, PBf should be looking to reassert himself. Though given Floyd's child like ego?? He might just run off into retirement:| :| :| :| like a baby, or maybe there'd be a rematch?? I dont predict the future, and anything's possible. I'm just referring to the potential scenarios that might exist in the 47 landscape.:good

OK. Nice spin job. You must have gone to the Carlito Elementary school for the blind.

Let me ask you this, how many natural welterweights have stopped Baldomir? How many fighters ever have dropped him even once?

After you answer that, why don't you tell me how its fair to criticize a natural lightweight for not stopping him within six rounds.

    Next.

Do you think it's fair to criticize him for not even trying? Esp when during the promotion he said that there were 2 ways for Baldomir to leave the ring: "on his ass or on his back". (I think that's what was said...)

Ive watched this fight the most outta of all the Gayweather fights, each time i have Castillo winning by more. He won youre just in denial.:hi:

Except, that Chavez was widely regarded as the favorite and DLH made him look ordinary, TWICE.:good

    A SD is not decisive.:deal

No, but my point is that he has always been hyped up to be the second Pernall Whitaker, and that is not the case at all. All in all Mayweather beat a ordinary fighter, not the second coming of Sweet Pea:nono .
