You know what a chump is, some one that says one thing and does another.

Thank you, but you may like other men putting things in your mouth, but you can refrain from putting anything in mine, words included.

Please point out where I said that he was a great fighter. All I stated is that its ludicrous that you would expect a natural lightweight to stop a natural welterweight who has never been stopped.

And I guess Judah and Clottey arent world class fighters eh?

    Key word is promotion.

You obviously havent been around the sport very long if you believe everything said to promote a bout.

De la Hoya destroys either guy quickly and painfully. No contest. They both get by on their size but neither is that much bigger than De la Hoya and both together aren't half the boxer he is. He hits much sharper, much harder, much more accurate and does EVERYTHING better than they do. They throw more punches, sure, but they have to because the quality of those punches is sooooo much less. I don't care how old he gets, he will always pound those wide open style fighers. See the Mayorga fight if you don't believe me.

Perfect post, this is margaritos fans reunite thread..they all(4) came out of the woodworks to gather together on a theory of pure and utter BS that since williams beat margarito he beats everybody and everybody still loses to margarito b/c other welters dont throw 100 punches a round. Ask the 3 other fighters that beat margarito if they had to throw that many..NO....Margarito shows his limitations and how much he cant box in the last 2 fights. Modern even mind posters said he is tough but nothing special.. BUT I DONT WANT TO REIGN ON THE CARLITO POWER RANGER VOLTRON FORCES PARADE..KEEP IT COMING...LOL:deal:bart:yikes
