They were perfectly fine for the Hopkins fight, what made them look bad is what Hopkins was doing in the ring and his strategy.

Jack Leow said before the Pavlik fight they're 100% and won't go in if they're anything less than that knowing how dangerous Hopkins is. Then they came out and said he was physically ill. If they weren't 100% tests before and after the fight would have proved it.

On topic, good news despite all the negative comments, that would be one hell of a night. Two amazing fights in one day, of course it would be better if it happened before but that's the way it is. Better postponed than canceled. If he gets injured then it happens, no one should bash on him for that, injuries are a major part of the sport and they're not idiots/careless to go in anything less than 100% mentally and physically.

sounds like pavlik doesn't want anything to do with the punisher.

Makes sense, they postpone the fight because they're scared. I mean, why cancel?, just postpone out of fear.

I don't think Pavlik is scared. It's just he's not tough enough to continue on the schedule. If i recalled Didn't Williams had a injured ribs 2 weeks before his fight vs Margarito? Williams could easily post poned his fight but he went through with it like a man and good lord Williams beat Margarito.:) Oh well what can anybody do?

i agree. pavlik should toughen up and fight in october. boxers fight on with injuries all the time. it's a tough sport.

when pavlik says he's willing to fight only if he's 100%, it shows what kind of man he is.

They post poned the fight with a freaking knuckles but was it broken? If not then i don't see why they cancel it. It's not like the fight is 2 weeks away. Hell Williams had a bad injured ribs 2 weeks before his fight vs Margarito. Williams could do actually what Pavlik is doing but Williams WENT THROUGH IT LIKE A MAN!! And what do you know scar? Williams beat Margarito with an injured ribs. Wait is this same injured ribs that Mayweather post poned his fight vs Marquez?

Exactly man. Alot of fighters have injuries in training but most have went through it and won a fight.
