Forrest is done dude. The guy had issues with Mora.

At this point Williams beats Forrest badly. I don't wanna see this fight. I'd much rather see Santos/Dzinziruk/Spinks in there with Williams.

It makes sense for Willams because Forrest is considered the number one in the division. If Williams beats Forrest and can beat the above mentioned, he'd be the man.

    Who's Forret?

Just kidding - indeed, a match between Paul Williams and Vernon Forrest seems almost inevitable. Great clash of styles and personalities, not too mention the right to call the winner the best at 154.

I would lean towards Williams, I think his height and workrate would serve him well against Forrest, but Forrest has proven me wrong before, who knows, with a jab like the one he's got, it's a tough call.

Agree. i don't know about Spinks either. I know Dzinziruk wants him, but I have never seen him fight, Just clips. Santos would be a great fight. If margo won't rematch them, then let them go at it. They can fight for the lineal "most feared boxer" title.:bbb

Forrest is shot and hanging on by a thread. Good win by Williams tonight, probably the best of his career aside from Margarito, although you probably couldn't tell by looking at both of their faces at the end of the fight. Is it possible that Williams weight draining is causing him to swell worse than normal. Fernando Vargas anyone? I thought Verno would be a little trickier than he proved to be. It seemed as though he was winded after the 3rd and everything went out the window after that.

I wouldn't mind seeing a fight between Williams and Forrest.. I'd like to also see him fight Dzinziruk and Kirkland down the road.. Theres some other fights at 147 I want to see him in too..

hopefully it'll happen...it'll give Williams some serious recognition or make Forrest a bigger star

He looked winded because those 15 right hooks to the body he took in the first few couple of rounds... I was very impressed by that right hook to the body that PW was throwing....

He stuck to it, and was landing popping shots, right under Verno's left elbow..
    very impressive body work
