As I have stated above, it is a VERY big deal to get Sturm to fight Abraham or Pavlik. We know it won't be Abraham. It just makes the AA/KP fight that much bigger. I think Pavlik sees this as a one time deal. Let it go by now and he may never see it again. Since AA and KP both want to unify, this is actually good news for both. It really had to happen for one of them first. I'm just surprised that Sturm didn't take AA's offer. Some have suggested this fight won't happen anyhow. He is just negotiating in bad faith with Pavlik to make it look like he isn't hiding from AA. That wouldn't surprise me considering what we have seen from Sturm in the past. We shall see......

Possibly an outstanding fight to watch, if only for the fact that both guys like to throw lots of punches, fight on the inside and often let their guards wide open !

Why? Pavlik doesn't get hit and AA lacks punching power? :think

How his career would be destroyed because of one KO loss?
    explain me this.
You know how Pavlik would react?that's interresting if you can see the future.

it's crazy how the boxing fan of today are dumb, and I dont point to anybody, but, if Pavlik would lost, to Abraham, that would be a second loss, and yet, his career is over?
yeah right, thats because of that that fighter are protected too much these day and avoid the big challenge

Yeah, Tom was a little over the top when he made the post. Common here, if a fight looks like it might not happen, be GOD and show how smart you are since you won't be proven wrong.

Pavlik vs Williams would be a good fight...I think Pavlik takes it by decision but I wouldn't be surprised if Williams beat him...With that said I'd be rooting for Williams regardless..

Damn straight, I'm a Pavlik man thru and thru, but Williams is a serious foe. And I would sure as hell pay to see it, no way this could be anything but a bad ass fight.:deal

I hope Williams vs Pavlik happens. Pavlik has some things that I felt for quite some time that he needs to work on. I am not sure if Pavlik would beat Abraham or not. That's a very tough fight. To me Abraham is already a SMW fighting at 160. I really believe Williams might win championships in 5 weight classes before he's done.

This term dream fight is being misused quite often...

It's supposed to be a H2H battle between two superstar fighters that typically wouldn't be put together in a ring because of weight desparity upon both parties...

Williams campaigns around those weight classes so it wouldn't be a dream match...

a dream match would be like...Calzaghe vs. Wlad Klit...or Mayweather vs. Hopkins
