I HONESTLY BELIEVE THIS WAS BECAUSE OF A LACK OF EXPERIENCE AGAINST SOUTHPAWS EVEN IF HE IS ONE HIMSELF I THINK IT MADE A BIG DIFF.

I have to admit I was more wrong than a ***** giving relationship advice to your daughter. I thought Paul was going to be relentless and non stop the entire fight. Which would break Quintana. But as soon as I saw the cheezy smile on Paul getting his hands wrap then walking to the ring I knew that he was in for a long night. Paul wasn't as active, his punches looked really slow and he wasn't using his jab. Overall Paul looked sluggish...but I can't take anything away from Carlos b/c he looked awesome.

He was a bit wild but it was working. He moved well and showed a lot of angles. He was pretty much landing at will on the taller Paul at the begining and towards the end of the fight. It was a great preformance by Carlos and I give props to the new WBO WW Champ. Paul needs to check himself and figure out what has gone wrong in the time off he had since winning the WBO title.

Thanks Rich. And at +700 he was hugely undervalued. He seemed to have things in order like his nutrition and strength and conditioning. He may still struggle with Cotto but I think he's capable of doing much better than he did in their first contest.

Man I hate it when people don't give a fighter his just due. Williams looked like **** because Quintana made him look like ****. he tried jabbing, quintana slipped thouse jabs and landed hard shots. He tried throwing lots of punches, hell he tried everything that he did against margarito Quintana just had an answer for everything.

I was fighting tooth and nail about PW being over rated but given his last preformance I'd have to say he is or was over rated. He really didn't look good against carlos...I'm thinking that PW just wansn't up to par but I feel bad saying that b/c it could have very well been the movement and game plan that Carlos implemented that made Paul look extra ORDINARY on saturday. I'd like to see how Paul bounces back...He's got a HELL of a Chin. I mean Carlos made Paul eat some nasty punches that night and consistantly.

Anybody who accurately picked Quintana over Williams, and was correct as to why Quintana would win, knows boxing much better than I do. Pretty impressive. I thought Williams would out-work Quintana to death, keep him at a long distance with sharp jabs and then follow through with sharp overhand shots. He didn't do any of that. Quintana's main shortcoming is that he gets really tired. He was a sitting duck for Williams during the middle rounds but Williams couldn't execute at all. I think Cotto would have gone in for the kill.

Williams was lazy with his jab and paid dearly for it. He also has a bad habit of chasing in behind his jab with his body which totally negates his size and reach advantage. This made him an easy target for Quintana's looping left counters.

This can be corrected but it showed that Williams lack of amateur pedigree belies somes technical flaws. I never did like how much Williams gets hit. Granted he's got a solid chin but if he was in with a powerful counter puncher he'd have been lucky to the last bell.

Exactly and that's how you stop a volume puncher. You don't throw 100 punches a round when your head is constantly snapping back.

If Quintana and Williams fought 10 times Quintana would win 9 out of 10
