Yeah, comparing Holmes, Tyson, Hagler, Hearns, Duran, Leonard and the likes to MMA champions?

Match making wise, UFC is doing great, but the quality of fights can't match the quality of something like Mosley - PBF.

Look at the super six, boxing has had a few very good years.. there are ups and downs, obviously.. but it's far from dead.

Paul Williams beats Cintron by KO/TKO. I don't give Cintron much of a chance. Don't think he is skilled enough to deal with Williams relentless offense.

 

:dealI like both UFC and boxing but boxing more. Nothing captivates me more than a good boxing match but guys like Anderson Silva, Belfort, Prime Liddell, Rampage, and GSP are exciting to watch.

 

Williams needs to tighten up that defense a bit, but i still se him outpunching and outworking Cintron for a TKO.

MMA is on SPIKE TV all the time. In the 80's boxing was on regular TV. FNF's... showcase scrubs that have no followers. Floyd plays up his celebrity by hanging out with 50 Cent, getting on Dancing with the stars, etc.

MMA dudes are getting huge endorsements, they are becoming more recognizable.

Put up a photo of Manny Pacquaio next to Chuck Liddell and ask a random person on the street which guy have they seen before. 85% of the people will say Chuck Liddell.

Even my kids know him as "the fighting guy"

I'm really starting to like MMA(Shane Valazquez) and K1(Badr Hari) but I don't ever think it will/can surpass boxing in ratings or appeal!!

Gud fight 4 BIG WW's. PTP looked gud wit Martinez. I thought Sergio won a really really entertaining fight that was close. Kermit looked really gud against a light El Perro.

My wits r saying Paul by workrate nd attrition with a late stoppage possibly. However, I think Cintron is more confident nd rebirthed. I have a funny feeling Kermit Cintron hits as hard as Kelly Pavlik. Now y did Sergio M. get da date wit Pavlik instead of Paul Williams?
