Williams looked like dog**** against Lara. How much of that was due to Lara I'm not sure, Willams should have enough left to beat Ishida but a loss wouldn't surprise me.
Yep that's my thoughts, The Lara fight was a hard comeback bout Williams doesn't do it easy but Ishida's on a roll. It's a risky fight to take props to PWilly for taking it.
I think a lot of people are rating Ishida on ONLY the win over Kirkland, he's GENUINELY a talented fighter.
Ishida isn't bad but he's not really a world beater, surely? Williams might not have long left, he's being hit more and more often, especially with overhand lefts and the weight cutting/gaining won't have done him any favours. I think so long as he stays away from southpaws he'll do alright.
Ishida is a genuine fringe level fighter and was very unlucky to lose to Alvarez...for the title Trout now holds...
Tbh Williams will never get better and will only get worse by staying with the delusional George Peterson. Williams after the Lara fight basically said he's gonna keep fighting same way. Ishida can win this fight IMO.
