He was until recently. He said that now he's more confident in his power and his planting his feet more.
damn all of you! I'm in canada (eh?) and i'll have to wait til one of you posts it on youtube i agree that kolle wasn't the best middleweight but it's not always who you beat it's HOW you do it (ala roy jones). I am very much in the school that I don't trust someone who HASN'T got a lose. Williams knows the feeling, doesn't like it and has moved on. Serious threat in 3 divisions.
I know that's what they say....but I'm certainly they'll have an easier time fighting at 160, finding a fight at 160 and making more money at 160.
Who is Kolle? I mean for real not to discredit paul but Kolle isnt anything special. He can defently crack at that weight which means he should not be fighting at WW Middleweight gives him his power back.
We shall see. It's a little too early to see how long he stays with this plan. Obviously you can't argue with the results (2 KOs in like 2 minutes) but when he gets in with someone who can take him to deep waters, it'll be interesting to see what he'll do. If he sticks with this new style or goes towards a points based pitter patter style like he did before.
Yep, though I expect him to go back to Welterweight though. He wants to fight again on Nov. 29 and it will be at Welterweight according to what he said. His title at 147 will be gone if his next fight isn't at Welterweight.
It's not the fact that Williams beat a nobody, it's the fact that he knocked out a guy who went 6 with Ward and is a natural middleweight.
