Williams by 3 rounds. Lara was too negative.

Are you actually serious? Williams took a hiding! I don't think i can remember Williams landing a clean head shot! Also Lara was hardly negative, just a smart game plan. Throwing 500 + punches is clearly not negative.

I've seen some bad decisions in my time, but this one was right up there. Just sickening. The closest you can have it is 8-4. I had Lara by 6 or 7 rounds.

Oh, Gaz is just playing. BA.

Sorry, BA. I just thought the thread may need a little balance on this issue.

I thought Williams won 2 rounds at a push.

I thought the drawn card was bad enough but assumed the second and third cards would make sure we got the right winner. How wrong was I?

robbery, williams must have the lowest ring iq of any top class boxer out there, usually all southpaw affairs are tentative cagey fights not with williams as he doesn't even think and just goes out and throws punchs.being caught repeatably with the same punch that destroyed you last time out is shocking

Didn't you have money on Lara winning on points? I had a lucky escape, I went to put the same bet on at Betfair at 7/1 but just as I logged in the closed the market. I was gutted at the end of the fight cos I assumed my bet would have come in.

Yep. Had him at 9/1. Would have returned £120. Makes it even worse mate.

Sporting bet had 9/1 on a Lara decision.

I expected Lara to outclass him, I expected Williams to win on points (due to swinging his arms aimlessly) wheher he landed a single punch or not, but not even me with all my hate for the sport of boxing foresaw a robbery so blantant as this.

Williams has had a few of these type of decisions go his way now.

I had him losing to Martinez (1st fight) and Margarito, but this one sounds much worse than those two; I'll have to give it a look.

HBO were terrible. I thought Williams could have easily took 5/6 rounds. Punches landed graphic showed same punches were being landed but PW was really outworking him. Honestly. I didn't feel it was that bad a decision. PW got heart.
