After last nights fight.... this is the last step to name the real welterweight champion. Who's the favorite to win and how?

Well, look who was ready to go at the end of the Margarito - Williams fight. IMO that tells you all you need to know.

Margarito has to avenge this loss though. If he wants to really push his name.

    Williams again.

    He has Margo's number.

He'll stay on the back foot and pitty patter 1200 jabs to keep away from Toni.

Margo is a great 'fighter' but he doesn't have the adaptibility to beat Williams

The only adapting Margarito needs to do is start one or two rounds earlier. PW didn't seem to hurt AM, so I think AM could take this fight via decision or KO.

Didn't Williams win the 12th round on the judges card? He seemed to recover quite well from the 11th round scare

Btw, I believe the rematch is a toss up

If Williams sits down on his shots the way he did in his last fight he will hurt Margo...Difference between Cotto and Williams??? Williams is a middleweight dressed up like a welterweight and Cotto is a welterweight:good

Sure. He won the 12th and the fight in my eyes.

But the funny thing is about getting that second wind is that if you wait too long early, that second wind is gonna come late too.

Tony clearly did nothing early on. And he gave Williams all those early rounds without putting up a fight. I think had he gone at Williams earlier, he would have had his second wind earlier. Rather than playing it like it was a 15 round fight.

i don't think margo would KO williams, williams is on a different level than cotto in terms of toughness and chin..margo is not known to KO fighters that are to known to be solid. Clottey for example..

i favor williams to outboxed him again by UD

IMO the Margarito that showed up against Cotto would clearly beat PW, not easily - but clearly.

I think if Margarito comes again with all out pressure, Williams will be better at keeping Tony at bay. HE is the one with both the height and reach advantage. Cotto gave a blueprint on how to deal with Margarito but he just lost energy at the end. Williams just needs the stamina and boxing skills Cotto displayed last night for all 12 rounds. If I had to name 2 fighters that could beat him now, PBF and The Punisher could do it. I do not know what style Andre Berto fights but he could maybe contend with Margo in a year or two.

Margo was closing in on Williams. If they fight again it will be a toss up.
